Vaccine Resources

I’ve been investigating the safety and efficacy of vaccines for more than 20 years. Part of that search is because I live with a vaccine reaction that I will have until I die. My doctor diagnosed the condition with hours of it’s manifesting, and pointed out that the only thing in my life that had changed was my receiving the MMR the previous week. It took more than 10 years for that reaction to appear in the MMR adverse reaction list!

When I married and began to think about children I hoped to have. I asked a number of doctors if my children might inherit the condition from me. I was told it wasn’t possible since the condition wasn’t genetic. What I wasn’t told was that my children were more likely to experience the same reaction than children with a different mother. I can tell you that it made me more watchful in vaccinating my children in those early years, and when they began to experience vaccine adverse reactions, it made it easier to finally “just say ‘No!’”

For more than 15 years, I have been teaching and writing about vaccine safety and efficacy. In that time, more vaccines have been added to the recommended and state required lists. Some vaccines have come and gone; proving to be too dangerous to remain on the approved lists. More vaccines are on the way, and I will keep researching and expanding my knowledge and the material in my web site, books, and in the classes I teach.

Let me call your special attention to the
Vaccine Refusal Form. This form is not intended to be used as an exemption form. It is designed to assist the parent to convey they understand both the risks and benefits of contracting the disease and the risks and benefits of having their child vaccinated. It is primarily an educational document and may assist parents in explaining the choice they have made.

In the pages linked to this section, you will find a variety of informative documents. Keep checking in, because this section will continue to grow!

Also check out the Vaccine Educator certification program under the
Abounding Health tab if you are interested in spreading the word to others about vaccine safety and efficacy. This program can assist your efforts with training and material.
