Titus 2 Birthing
Titus 2 Birthing is a faith-based training and
certification program for labor doulas, postpartum doulas,
childbirth educators, monitrices and parent educators.
Titus 2 Birthing works with birth and parenting
professionals to provide quality care and exceptional
educational materials.
Applicants and Titus 2 certified professionals seek to
serve God as they minister to families.
Titus 2 Birthing sees pregnancy and childbirth as natural
and normal functions of the female body. Families learn
ways to maintain a healthy pregnancy and a normal delivery.
Education is a primary mode of service, helping families to
explore: options, information on maintaining health and to
see how their choices affect outcomes.
Titus 2 childbirth education materials cover pregnancy,
birth and early parenting. Certified instructors teach an
8-week program that covers nutrition, exercise, types of
birth practitioners, positions for labor and delivery,
methods to minimize childbirth discomfort, comfort
measures, vaccinations, parenting styles, breastfeeding,
infant care and many other topics.
